Our mattress is conveniently packaged in a box. The mattress will expand to its full size quickly after opening. Go ahead and put sheets on the mattress and start sleeping right away!

FAQs

How long can the mattress stay in the box?

We suggest that the mattress be unboxed within 3-4 weeks. Leaving the mattress in the box longer than that will not harm the mattress, but it may cause the expansion time to take a bit longer.

We do not recommend keeping the mattress boxed for longer than 12 weeks as that can potentially cause the mattress to not fully expand to its intended dimensions.

 Is White Glove Delivery available for the Serta® Five Star Mattress®?

White Glove service is not available for Serta Five Star Mattresses at this time. These mattresses are shipped via FedEx, who will deliver the carton to your door within 5-14 business days.

How long will it take to receive my Serta® Five Star Mattress®?

The Serta Five Star Mattress takes about 5-14 business days to arrive, and it will be delivered by FedEx Ground.

All of the Serta Five Star Mattresses are shipped in a box measuring 44” x 18” x 18”.

Can you sleep on the Serta® Five Star Mattress® in a Box as soon as it comes out of the box?

Yes! The mattress will expand to almost its full size within the first 30-60 seconds of being opened. There is no harm in putting sheets on the mattress and sleeping on it right away!
